Canticum Collection
Wear poetry and nature in the shape of a jewel
“As evening fell, Brother Francis, gazing into the sunset, wished to honour God through a canticle that exalted in a simple, direct, and spontaneous, but equally profound manner, all the magnificent Creation that surrounded him and all the "fraternal" elements that the Most High had bestowed and made so indispensable and precious to man.”
From the poetic inspiration of the Canticle of the Creatures comes the idea of Humilis to create a line of rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings dedicated to the four elements significantly present in the work. Brother Wind, Sister Water, Mother Earth, and Brother Fire: these are the simple and pure values of nature praised by Saint Francis, all represented in the Canticum jewellery. Four different types of precious stones - diamond, sapphire, emerald, and ruby - embellish and strengthen the salvific message of the Franciscan Tau.
Water, air, earth, and fire declined in the Canticum jewellery
The “AERE” jewellery line, inspired by Brother Wind, unleashes the essence and transparency of air through the brilliance of the diamond.
“Praised be to you, o Lord, for Brother Wind and for air and clouds and clear skies and any kind of weather, which brings sustenance to all your creatures.”
The “AQUA” line, inspired by Sister Water who refreshes and quenches the senses, is expressed with the preciousness of blue sapphire.
"Praised be to you, o Lord, for our Sister Water, which is very useful and humble and precious and chaste."
The “EARTH” line, inspired by Mother Earth who shines with joy, life, and the fullness of nature, is expressed in the Humilis jewellery through the bright, flamboyant green of emeralds.
“Praised be to you, o Lord, for our Mother Earth our sister, which sustains and rules, and grows different fruits and flowers and grass.”
The jewellery of the “FOCU” line, inspired by Brother Fire that warms the soul and invigorates, expresses its essence through the energy of the red ruby.
“Praised be to you, o Lord, for Brother Fire, through which you light up the night, and it is beautiful and joyful and robust and strong."
