The Classica collection of earrings from Humilis is unisex, suitable for both men and women, and proposes hoop earrings that are simple but studied in every detail - from the pattern to the jewel’s retractable clasp, which makes the earring a unique object perfectly incorporated in the ear. The pattern of the classic collection is unmistakable: the Tau cross, a symbol of faith and the signature of Saint Francis, rotates in high relief around the entire circumference of the earring and has a shiny finish that stands out in low relief from the satin finish. The jewel, although small in size, is thus shiny and three-dimensional. The earrings of the Classica collection, given their essential design, are synonymous with simplicity, refinement, and elegance, thanks also to the combinations of precious metals with which they are made. Simply choose the mix of metals that best represents you and wear it every day to attest to your faith and the strong message you want to shout to the world.
The earrings from the Iter collection, on the other hand, depict the key symbols of the three cities of art to which Humilis wanted to pay homage. The dome of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, the lily of Florence, the iron bow of the Venetian gondola, and the flower of the Doge’s Palace in Venice are transformed into small, meticulous reproductions in 925 sterling silver and 18-carat gold, enriched with cubic zirconia or diamonds set in the pendant. The pendant earrings from the Iter collection have simple, clean lines and are extremely refined jewels suitable to wear both during the day and in the evening for a radiant look. Crafted by the skilled hands of Italian goldsmiths, they are a pivotal symbol of Made in Italy elegance.
The mastery of goldsmith’s craftsmanship can also be seen in the Rosoni earrings collection, in which the rosettes of the most important Italian basilicas, such as those of St. Francis and St. Clare in Assisi, and the rose window of Florence Cathedral, are reproduced with sculptural accuracy. Rosoni earrings are women’s jewellery suitable for all ages and skin types, as they are hypoallergenic and nickel-free, made of 925 silver and 18-carat gold with the typical double finish of Humilis jewellery, polished in the high relief and satin-finished in the low relief. The reproduced rosettes can be chosen in three different sizes: from the smallest light point, characterized by the central part of the rosette enriched with a zircon or natural stones such as diamonds, to the medium size of the pendant earrings depicting the first two circles of the chosen rosette, up to the large size, in which the rosette is depicted in its entirety, with all the sculptural and artistic details of the original.
All sizes of rosettes are also present in the Canticum collection. Inside, the gold rosettes of Assisi are enriched with coloured gemstones such as sapphires, emeralds, diamonds, and rubies, while those of Florence are decorated with amethyst, the purple stone representing the colour of the city, instead of rubies. In the rosettes made of silver, on the other hand, coloured zircons are set to represent the four natural elements of the Canticle of Creatures - earth, water, air, and fire - symbolized by the respective colours of the stones - green, blue, white, and red.
Finally, with its Segno collection, Humilis has created earrings depicting the Franciscan Tau cross, a symbol of faith and salvation. This is reproduced in a simple and elegant way in a lobe earring, small and suitable for any occasion, with a butterfly clasp that allows it to be put on and taken off in a very practical way. Alternatively, we propose the more elegant pendant version with a lever back clasp, where the Tau frames the wearer’s face with cubic zirconia or diamonds. The earrings in the Segno collection are made in both 925 sterling silver and 18-carat gold, with the Tau cross available in three finishes: polished, satin, or paved with cubic zirconia or diamonds.
