The Humilis line of religious pins and brooches depicts the salvific symbol of the Franciscan Tau. It is therefore a reminder of the messages that St. Francis of Assisi preached, and promotes closeness to divine faith through the founding values of love for peace, joy, and Creation.
The cornerstone of all our creations, like our other jewellery even the Tau Catholic brooch is available in 925 silver and 18-carat gold, with the respective versions: rhodium silver, yellow gold plated, and rose gold plated silver for silver brooches; white, yellow, or rose gold for gold brooches.
Humilis brooch pins can be chosen in two different finishes, both handmade by our goldsmiths. The polished finish makes the brooch shiny and smooth both to the eye and to the touch; the satin finish, on the other hand, gives the religious brooch a rough texture to the eye, more three-dimensional. This particular texture is achieved by the satin finish of the metal, skilfully applied by our goldsmiths, which makes it similar to the texture of silk.
